Hey there, I'm Ruben. I was born and raised in the Bronx, NY, and am now based in Austin, TX. These days I'm a Software Engineer in the corporate world, and do creative engagements about life and human growth through my personal blog, Learning La Vida.

Previously, I spent 8 years building and scaling customer programs in tech—most prominently at Meta supporting millions of small businesses. I'm also professionally trained as a life coach and ran my own practice for a couple years. That is until I followed my own advice and spent more time doing what I love to do — building technology and openly reflecting on ways to change and grow as a human being.
